Two seating areas

Two communal areas: one indoors with air conditioning, one a covered open-air section. Order from any of The Commons' vendors and sit anywhere. There are no reservations, so seating is first come, first served. As the bar has always put it: when it rains, we pour.

Live music or a DJ

Live music and DJs happen here, but The Commons programmes what plays across the building. Which nights have music is not the bar's to set, so no schedule is published on this site — The Commons publishes each month's on its Facebook page.

Dogs are welcome

The bar is dog-friendly and so is The Commons around it. The building is open-air and dogs are a normal sight in it.

The bar is right in the middle of it on the Market floor, lot 17 — you cannot miss it — and the food around it runs from Thai and Italian to Mexican and Peruvian.

Partner venues

Our partner venues, at the north end of Thonglor

Two partner venues sit about two kilometres north of here, where Thonglor meets Phetchaburi. They answer a different question to this one: come here if you are arriving by BTS or are already in central Thonglor, and head there if you are driving and want free parking, if you are a large group, or if you are coming by canal boat.

Saphan 55

Restaurant, cafe and event space at the north end of Thonglor, under the canal bridge that gives it its name.

Go for free on-site parking, room for a big group, a 300-guest event space, and the canal boat pier 60 m away
